Lincoln County

Currently, they have a moratorium on STR as of Dec 8th, there is currently a lawsuit, by short-term permit holders, suing that it is unjust and unfair and causing their properties and livelihoods to decrease. So the court will have until March 2nd to determine that. But having said that, you probably wouldn’t want to purchase a property for STR in Lincoln because we just don’t know what they will decide.

Tillamook County

Is a lot more open to STR. Each city in Tillamook County will have different requirements. There are cities that are favorable to STR.

Clatsop County

There are very few areas that allow STR. Cannon Beach and Seaside are the ones. There is a small hotel-zoned area in Astoria that allows STR but mostly not.
